Logan's doing x-rays on his own.  He's getting pretty good.  It's good to see the kids working and having great attitudes with it.  They put in some long hours and are sometimes tired, but they are doing it with a smile.  Sometimes, you can see it on their faces that they are tired, but they keep going until the work day is done.  We love our kids and are thankful for this opportunity to help teach them some great lessons in service and life.  I feel that we've all learned some great and valuable lessons.

I went into the sterilization room to get some things and saw this.  Braden was the only one in there working and trying to sort out instruments.  He's such a little independent guy.  He does what he can to get the job done.  Things are too tall, his gloves are too big, but that doesn't stop him.  :)

At the end of the work day, Makayla needed her bands changed on her braces.  I've never done that before, but we got it done for her.  I've always left that for the orthodontist.  She wanted them changed out, so we got er' done.  Plus, Dr. Johns has done orthodontics and he helped.  He's done some braces for the Tongans and helped transform some lives.

The kids with one of our favorite friends (Lupe).  She always has a SMILE on her face.  She is such a great friend to all our kids.  A lot of times, she shows up at our door wanting to come in and be a part of our family.  We now have a 6th child.  We'll take her!

Maddison sharing her talents for FHE tonight with the Senior missionaries.

Makayla sharing her talents as well.  It was Pioneer Day theme tonight for FHE.  So, we had the kids play some violin music (some fiddle songs), and it was the 1st time that some Tongans had ever heard violin music.  She was about 70 years old.  She said it was a real treat for her.
We had Brother and Sister Vamahi share their Pioneer story with the group.  They are an incredible couple that have gone through so many things.  I wrote about him earlier in an earlier blog.  He has Bishop 3 times, in the Stake Presidency 2 or 3 times, and made a huge impact on the missionary work here in Tonga.  He went to school in Provo, Utah and got his Masters in Education.  He came back here to Tonga and was Principle of Liahona School twice.  He was the Math teacher for President Tupo (the mission President that just got released).  He's made a huge impact in so many lives.  What a great example of service, dedication, and use of his time and talents.

Braden and Elder Radmacher tonight at FHE.  They are so similar in so many ways.  Braden is 8 years old and Elder Radmacher is 72, but they are kindred spirits.  Both love to talk and are so good at it.  They just talk and talk and talk and laugh and laugh and laugh.  Good times!

We came home tonight and found several friends waiting for us in our kitchen.  I think they found some goodies in the kitchen they were trying to get to.  These are some friends we won't miss when we come home.  :)
