Logan working hard in the sterilization room.  He has it down now.  The three oldest kids are doing their shifts and enjoying it.  Heidi is assisting in the morning this week and it's really cool to be doing Dentistry with your wife.  There is a learning curve (as is with all things), but she picked up quick and is doing great.  Today, we did a TON of extractions and a lot of them were surgical extractions.  Sorry, no pictures.  They would be too gross and we want to keep it PG for the kids.  :)

This was during lunch break.  Some of our Assistants who help Elder and Sister Johns text and play on their phones.  It's crazy!  They live in very poor circumstances, but somehow manage to have phones.  I don't understand.  They are great Assistants and help when they're not on their phones.  :)
This is the one of the reasons we love it here in Tonga.  We are not connected to our phones.  The only way we are communicating is through our e-mail and this blog.  It's been SO nice and refreshing!  The kids are being kids, playing a lot of games outside, lots of family time, and peace and quiet at night time.  No TV is great!  Who would have thought right?!

A lot of Tongans sleep like this.  They'll just throw a blanket over the top of them and go to sleep.  We can't do much Dentistry this way, but it works while we're gone for some lunch.  She's just waiting for us to come back.

Heidi and I came home for some lunch and this is what we found.  The kids having some fun with some stickers.  Braden is CRAZY!  What a goof!

Just a picture from where we sit.  I work out of two chairs with patients and Dr. Johns works out of two chairs as well.  Today was a busy day.  It went well and we feel good.

Heidi and I went to the temple tonight and saw two kids playing on some tractor tires.  They would get on top of the tire and see how long they could walk on top while it was turning.  They use whatever they can and turn it into a game.  We love these people!

The Tongan Family (that's really their name) taught our girls and a friend (Gwen - Elder and Sister Radmacher's granddaughter) a Tongan dance and a Hawaiian dance.  They put a show on for us.  We love this family!  They are incredible people!

Doing their Tongan Dance.  They had one night to learn and perform it.  They did great!
